Group Assignment: Bathroom Design

 In this week, I participated in a design assignment as a group, which was a novel experience - this is the first time I have participated in a multi-person collaborative design project.

First of all, my partner and I designed the logo and block of the drawing. As a person who has never touched block design, this is a huge challenge, so I found some examples from the website, and analyzed the merits of each example typography.

In the logo design, we adopted the old English font, which made our logo letter: EI (the same letter of everyone's name) more design sense and cultural heritage. This also reflects our design philosophy: a design that respects culture and tradition.

In the drawing of each drawing (plan, section, elevation), I am responsible for drawing the prototype of the design, while my partner is responsible for the completion and details (based on our personality and different styles). This kind of cooperation has greatly shortened our drawing time. At the same time, we also tried the method of collective inspection after drawing for the first time, hoping that this method can reduce some unnecessary mistakes.

Final Assignment 1.0 : Big Place, Small Space

 This week's mission is to find a small place and transform it so that wasted space can be used more efficiently. In the choice of location, our group had many differences.   Colors:  Every color has its own and unique meaning and was used carefully in ancient Chinese architecture.  Purple was the most honorable color in ancient China and the reasons can be found in Chinese history  and religion.
